NSW F-League

FNSW have come up with a concept for a league that we feel can lead into a National League within 3-5 years. FFA have given FNSW approval to run the F-League to run in winter months giving Futsal players a choice to play the sport full time if they wish as there will be elite competition running all year round.

In the first season of the F-League and providing we get entries from Victoria and ACT we will not be running Stop Clock in the first season as the cost associated will be increased and season two we will be looking to have full international rules established. FNSW had not budgeted for the F-League in so my hands are tied in terms of funding.

With this in mind we have come up with a model similar used by NZF Futsal National League where teams play 5 games across the weekend over 3 series. I have no doubt if we get clubs/teams to enter the F-League it will grow in to a competition where teams could qualify to compete at the AFC Futsal Club Championships. Having said that FNSW will only run this competition if we get 6-8 teams to enter.

The there will be cost involved for all teams entering the competition, the entry fee is cover the cost of running the series is $2,500. With $500 to accompany the attached F-League Club entry form, the balance to be paid upon acceptance in the league.

If you are also wishing to enter a Open Womens team there will be a different format from that used above and information will be sent out on Monday 21/3/2011 with game at this stage scheduled for Monday Nights starting the week of 16/5/2011.

Five Dock Leisure Centre	Marrickville PCYC	Ryde & Sydney Uni
The futsal court is located at five dock leisure centre. The address is cnr Williams & Queens st Five Dock.	The address is 531 Illawarra Rd Rd Marrickville. The PCYC community centre next to Steel Park	The futsal court is located at Ryde Aquatic Centre. The address is Karen Moras Drive, Ryde. Also at Sydney Uni - Butlin St Darlington.


St George	North Sydney	Northern Beaches
The futsal court is located at Mortdale Bowling Club. The address is Boundary Rd Mortdale.	The futsal courts are located in the gym at north sydney high school. The address is falcon st north sydney.	Venues are at manly calabria club, curl curl comm centre, harbord bowling club, SAS, beacon hill comm centre and sokol.
