These statistics are basically here to show you how your team performed against all other sides around sydney. The team ranking is based on a formula which does favour a good defence and rewards teams that don't lose very often. There is a coeffiecent in the formula depending on the level of hardness of the comp!
Other statistics such as goals scored and conceded per game have been separated in mens divisions between hard and medium level. This is because it's only fair that scoring goals in 1st division is alot harder than division 2 and 3. The form will advise how each team has faired in their last few games, so you can tell if they're on the slide. Might help you decide a player in your squad. All statistics except finals scores are based on league results only.
There are other facilities on this website such as player classifieds where people can advertise themselves for a team or vice versa. Also the friendly game utility which may assist teams that have alot of breaks in the season.
Another feature on this website for teams that played last year is the 'head to head' results section. Using UPPERCASE plug in your team name and your opponent. This is soon to come. The finals results still exist in the old centres homepage, see each 2011 centres homepage and scroll down to find it under 'other statistics'.
